Good trainer for Cross country and Track. Both teenagers use this brand for both sports. Good running shoe-their feet don't respond well to Brooks or Hoka, but, these are good and have landing stability and support for ankle and heel. Good cushion, good lift-offI've used Asics over the years and am never disappointed. Recently, I find that I'm needing more support and wanting more comfort. I use these athletic shoes for walking and gym. I also plan to take them to Mexico, to a town where the streets are cobblestone and hilly; so, I'll have an update posted at a later date. I'm sure they will do well there, too. Last, but not least, price is important. I asked myself why pay more for fancier shoes when I know Asics will deliver. Plus these shoes are attractive! So glad I decided on Asics once more! Highly recommended.I've been wearing these shoes for running on pavement 6 mi per day for a month now. They still look great and my feet are happy! I've had multiple bones broken in both my feet. I've had the Gel Excite shoes and older Tri Noosa ones. The soles of my older Tri Noosa shoes wore slick very quickly, the cushion got flat and hard, and they got holes on the insides at the back of my heels. They didn't last long. I'm loving these shoes so far! My feet do not hurt while running and I have no foot pain the next day! I ordered another pair in a different color but bought them from Public Lands for $30 less!Love these shoes. Perfect for workouts and walking. Very comfortable and supportive.
